My favorite TLC property is White Pines Nature Preserve because...
...it is TLC’s first example of how much a dedicated group of individuals can accomplish when they set their minds to it. From the first acquisition of 142 acres in 1986 (which seemed like an impossible goal at the time) to its present size of 275 acres, White Pines Nature Preserve is an illustration of local grassroots supported conservation. If it weren’t for the vision and determination of these early TLC volunteers, we would have lost one of our community’s greatest natural treasures.
