| Description |
Situated across the Deep River from TLC's nationally significant White Pines Nature Preserve, this land contains additional stands of the disjunct white pine community. The natural heritage significance of the site and its frontage on the Deep River allowed the state to buy the land using a combination of funds from the NC Natural Heritage Program and the NC Ecosystem Enhancement Program.
