Mussel shells on the banks of the Rocky River at Wood's Mill Bend. The property is a Natural Heritage site, in part because of the rare mussels that live in the river here.

An old mill race still courses through the Wood's Mill Bend property. Diverted water traveled through the mill race to a holding pond. Water released from the millpond ran through another race to turn the wheel to power the mill. Remains of the old mill are present on private property adjacent to Wood's Mill Bend.
