In the shadow of what was in its day the largest plantation in the state,
Bryan Properties, Inc., on June 17 donated 355 acres of northern Durham
County woodlands to Triangle Land Conservancy.

Report Highlights Benefit of Doubling Region's Land Protection Rate
A new report from the Triangle GreenPrint Project finds that the region
could protect a linked regional network of green space in a generation's
time, but only if it doubles its current rate of land protection. TLC
makes recommendations to Johnston and Wake counties for increasing their

and Natural Area opened to the public on December 5 under a brilliant
